Ellie's Diary: Getting to know Anne!

Anne came over this afternoon! I wish I'd talked to her more years ago, but just never had much of a chance I guess. This year is going to be different, I know it.

She finally got to meet the horses, too, and I'm going to talk to Mom and Dad about it and see if I can take her riding with me sometime. I have a feeling that they'll want to see her ride in the ring first before we go trailriding though, which is a good idea. And maybe, God, I would love this, but if Tom went with us! Can you imagine? If it's the three of us, it won't seem too obvious, you know? Anne didn't get to see Tom tonight -- I guess he stayed in town -- but I can't wait for her to meet him too.

Anne stayed for dinner, which was great! I'm supposed to go to her house next time, and I'm curious to see where she lives and what kind of view she has -- it's got to be awesome. I'd love that too, but I guess it's good to be a little inland and protected, what with the animals and orchard and stuff.

The party last night was fun too, though I feel kind of bad for spilling that drink on that guy. Not sure who he was though, and I have a feeling he'll never want to talk to me again, haha! Okay, not funny. If there's another party soon, I'll definitely go so long as Anne does.
