Huh. I tried doing what Anne suggested last night, about Tom and the rafting trip, but it hasn't worked. Yet. When we were out in the barn together, I asked him about the different classes of rapids and stuff, but maybe I wasn't hinty enough? I don't know, really, but I was trying not to be too eager and hopeful -- maybe I wasn't enough? The trip isn't until next Friday, so I've got a few more days to see what happens.
